The Rundown
Mirador 1200, also known as Mirador North, is part of a two-tower condominium development called Mirador South Beach. Built in 1965 originally as an apartment complex, Mirador 1200 was later converted to condominiums in 2005. Mirador 1200 rises 17 stories and has 408 condo residences comprised of studios, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom floor plans ranging in size from 552 to 3,604 interior square feet. The tower is situated along Biscayne Bay offering views of the bay, ocean, cruise ships, and downtown Miami skyline. Mirador 1200 also offers sunrise and sunset views. It should be noted that the units in Mirador North do NOT have an in-unit washer and dryer. Additionally, most units at Mirador 1200 do NOT include assigned parking. Recently, new glass railings and hurricane impact-resistant windows were installed throughout Mirador 1200 as part of a special assessment project.
