Paramount Miami World Center

The amenity king of Miami, if you want a 5-star resort in your building, this is it

★★★★★4.0📍 851 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33132

The Rundown

60 stories, 569 units, and the most comprehensive amenity package in all of Miami. Designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects and developed by Daniel Kodsi's Paramount Ventures, completed in 2019. Paramount MWC is the showcase building of Miami World Center, the massive mixed-use development that rebranded what was formerly Park West. The pool deck alone would make a 5-star resort jealous. But you're not just paying for amenities, you're buying into a vibe. And that vibe is loud.

The Verdict
Chris's Final Take
★★★★★4.0 / 5

Paramount Miami World Center is the amenity building of Miami. Nothing else comes close to the sheer volume and quality of what's available to residents, the pool deck alone is worth the price of admission. But you need to know what you're getting into. This is a party building with influencer energy, and the units themselves are fine but not exceptional. If you value amenities above everything else, above views, above finishes, above a quiet lobby, Paramount is your building. You'll get better views at 900 Biscayne, better finishes at Marquis, and more character at 10 Museum Park. But none of them have anything close to this amenity package. A solid 4 stars, the amenities are a 5, but the vibe and security history bring it down slightly.

Who Lives Here

Let's be real, Paramount MWC is known as the influencer building. OnlyFans creators, Instagram personalities, NBA players and their entourages, new Miami money, and the party crowd. The pool deck on weekends is basically a music video set. You'll see ring lights, content being filmed, bottle service energy, and a lot of people who are there to be seen. That said, there ARE families and working professionals in the building, it's 569 units, so there's diversity. But the dominant energy is young, flashy, and social. If you want a built-in scene and don't mind the noise, this is paradise. If you want a quiet Sunday morning by the pool with a book, this is not your building.

The Neighborhood

Park West / Miami World Center

Paramount sits in the heart of Miami World Center, the massive mixed-use development that's transforming what was formerly Park West. It's technically the same neighborhood as Museum Row, just divided by whether you're bayfront or not. MWC is bringing retail, dining, and entertainment to the area, but it's still a work in progress.

📍

Miami World Center Retail

At your doorstep

The massive mixed-use development surrounding the building. Retail, dining, and entertainment are still rolling out, but the vision is a walkable urban core. Currently a mix of open businesses and construction.

📍

Jewel Box (Garage Mahal)

1 min walk

The eye-catching parking garage and retail structure that's become a Miami World Center landmark. More retail and dining coming as the development matures.

📍

Museum Row / Bayfront

5 min walk

The bayfront buildings (900 Biscayne, Marina Blue, etc.) are just a few blocks east. You're close to the bay but don't have direct bay access like the waterfront buildings.

📍

Kaseya Center (FTX Arena)

5 min walk

Home of the Miami Heat. Game nights and events bring massive traffic and energy to the area. Great if you're a Heat fan, less great if you're trying to get home.

Ongoing MWC Development

Surrounding

Miami World Center is still being built out. New towers, retail, and infrastructure are coming. The neighborhood will look very different in 5 years, more urban, more walkable, more complete.

What's Changing

Miami World Center is one of the largest urban development projects in the U.S. and it's still in progress. The area around Paramount will continue to densify with new towers, retail, and public spaces. This is good for long-term value but means construction noise and an evolving streetscape for the foreseeable future. The same Park West considerations apply, potential street flooding during heavy rain, event traffic from Kaseya Center, and west-facing views that could be impacted by future towers.
